We wanted to send a huge thank you to everyone who shared and took part in our survey to better understand anti-LGBTQIA+ backlash.

We had over 100 responses, which is already providing such rich picture of what people have been experiencing across the sector and your responses have been extremely generous. We’ve also held a small focus group of LGBTQ+ organisations impacted by backlash which has provided even more context and drive.

What’s clear at this stage is the depth and impact of these experiences is more intense than we anticipated. We are confident that, thanks to your responses, we have more than enough information to articulate the challenges our sector is facing in stark detail. We’ll share some initial findings with you as soon as we have them.
